CHUCK COLBY: MIDLAND, MI
Chuck… man this guy has energy! You will see Chuck become many characters in any given show. You may see him in a reggae-style wig, or crooning some unexpected lady as Elvis. Chuck is almost always wearing a BIG smile, and it’s obvious that this guy loves what he is doing up on stage.
Midland, Michigan is where Chuck was raised, and it was in his elementary music class where the director said, “Hey Chuck, you’re big - why don’t you play the tuba?” This statement started Chuck down a path that led him to become the drum major of his high school band (H.H. Dow - Midland, MI). Chuck later became a tuba player and vice president of the Spartan Marching Band at Michigan State University.
While at MSU, Chuck became the vice president of the Men's Glee Club and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. Chuck had plans of becoming a high school drama teacher, but with a talent for sales, he soon became the booking manager of Three Men and a Tenor, where he provided the band with a full-time touring schedule.
Chuck and his wife have three great kids who have Jennifer’s good looks and Chuck’s energetic spirit. Look for their album scheduled for release in 2012. Chuck is the youngest member, but has the biggest feet in the group, size15.
Chuck's musical influences include: Ray Charles, Paul Simon, Sting, and The Dave Matthews Band.
